From its humble beginnings as Dean's Deli, a small but popular deli in Kenner, LA, Pigéon Caterers has quickly grown into one of the largest caterers in south Louisiana. With Managing Partners (brothers) Jean Pierre Pigéon & Dean Pigéon at the helm, their vision and drive have taken the once small deli and parlayed it into a thriving company with over 100 employees.

At Pigéon Caterers, the catering division of our company in mid-city, we pride ourselves with providing authentic New Orleans Cuisine as well as culinary favorites from around the country. With a commitment to an elevated level of service and innovative ideas for presentation, we have the capacity to fulfill the dream of any Bride or Meeting planner. Whether we are catering a small house party, a lavish wedding, or a large corporate event, our passion for excellence is the same.

Another division of our quickly growing company is Carnival Brands. With its offices located uptown, Carnival Brands was acquired in 2006 and represents our wholesale and mass food production facility. Our USDA plant is also in this location and shares offices with our partner, Sodexo School services. Carnival Brands represents one of the fastest growing segments of the company and the future of Pigéon Caterers.

Food service management is another facet of our company that has grown. As the Official Food Service Providers for the New Orleans Saints, Pigéon Caterers maintains a permanent cafe operating 365 days a year. We handle food service for the players & staff, addressing all dietary needs and tastes. Also, we provide the food as well as manage & operate the Picayune Cafe at the Times Picayune. Our goal is to continue to grow and bring the same level of expertise into school and corporate environments as we have done for the last decade in our catering division.
