Amanda Winstead is New Orleans’ premier fine arts appraiser and serves clientele throughout the Gulf and Mid-South regions. She has appraised and brokered significant collections of art and antiques throughout the Southeast, including pieces from museums, corporate collections, plantation homes and private individuals.

As an Accredited Member of the Appraisers Association of America, Amanda specializes in providing objective and well-researched written appraisals of paintings, prints, sculpture and select decorative arts. She is very active in the Southern Regional art market and regularly appraises, evaluates, auctions and sells works by a great range of Southern artists, dating all the way from the 19th century to contemporary times.

Amanda is a recognized expert in Newcomb College art pottery, as well. Her activity in these markets, both at auction and in private sales, ensures she holds the greatest knowledge regarding the values and qualitative aspects of mentioned materials. Furthermore, she has discovered, auctioned and sold thousands of works of art totaling well in excess of $100 million.
