"MDF Industries Inc. was built on the roots of Fleming Gray Industries, a company forged in the automotive industry, but who saw great change with the break of World War II. In 1908, Fleming Gray Industries built their very first car, The Galt Car, and did not look back! The unique automobile was the brain child of Eddy Fleming, new car dealer and entrepreneur. He had a knack for staying ahead of the competition with inventive new ideas. When World World II broke, Fleming put his dealership on hold and converted his service garage into a precision machining shop. In 1946, he designed and developed skate sharpening and paint shaking equipment and business took off. When he sold his business to his son-in-law, David Gray, in 1963, the company focused their product lines, streamlined their equipment and the rest, as they say, is history. In 2009, MDF Industries took the helm of this solid company, well rooted in community and innovation. The original thinking that made Fleming Gray stand out over the last 100 years and more continues to fuel MDF's philosophy today. Building towards the future, we are constantly on the look-out for innovative technology to keep our equipment at the leading edge of our industry. Since November 2009, MDF Industries Inc. is now manufacturing Fleming Gray Paint shakers and skate sharpeners. We are commited to quality and customer satisfaction.
