Radford University Recreation and Wellness Center Company Information
General information
The new Recreation and Wellness Center houses fitness, active recreation and wellness space designed to help students live healthy lifestyles. The 110,000-square-foot center is home to gymnasium courts, racquetball courts and more than 15,000 square feet of free weights, strength training and cardio fitness space. It also has multiple group exercise rooms, one multi-activity court, a cycling studio and a new home for Radford University outdoors.
Three full-size basketball courts will also serve intramurals, drop-in basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer and badminton. The space can also be used for large gatherings or major student activities.
The center is slated to open in late Fall 2014.
