Midstate Electric Cooperative’s Facebook Page Policy:

The purpose of Midstate Electric Cooperative’s Facebook page is to provide members with a casual and open forum to share information about the co-op’s programs, services and activities, large outage updates, and other non-personal information. Although we will do our best to provide large/extended outage information, this page is NOT A WAY TO REPORT OUTAGES. IT IS NOT MONITORED 24/7.

All postings and contributions are subject to review by page moderators. All appropriate questions will be responded to within 24 to 48 hours during business days.
Midstate Electric Cooperative reserves the right to remove any post we feel is inappropriate, rude, offensive, aggressive, or any negative feedback that is presented without constructive criticism. We will delete comments that contain vulgar or inappropriate language, or personal attacks of any kind.
We reserve the right to remove any unsolicited advertising and comments that include links to other sites; are clearly off topic; advocate illegal activity; promote particular services, products or political organizations; or infringe on copyrights or trademarks.
Those who repeatedly post inappropriate content will be blocked from commenting on the page.
No personal details regarding one’s electric account should be posted in this, or any, public forum. If you have a question or concern regarding your account, please call the cooperative at 541-536-2126 or 800-722-7219 so your concerns can be addressed without compromising your confidentiality.
