ERS Consulting Engineers is a full service structural engineering firm originally founded in Steamboat Springs, CO. In 2009, we relocated our practice to central PA, with the intent to serve a broader market. We have an extensive background in steel, concrete, wood and masonry structures, and we specialize in traditional timber frame design and engineering.

With a love for "mountain" or "lodge" style architecture, our firm was founded on the principle that a building's structure can often be an asset to its aesthetic. Whether wood, steel, concrete or any other building material, it does not always have to remain hidden within the walls or obscured by costly finishes. Often times it is worth celebrating and these are the projects that fuel our passion to come to work every day.

Of course we provide traditional structural engineering services, and so do all of our competitors. It's part of our business and it's the industry standard. For these projects, we focus on delivering a value-engineered, sustainable structural system that will reliably stand the test of time. What sets us apart from our competitors, is the fact that we embrace each project, large or small, as an opportunity to create something remarkable.
