The purpose of the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) Facebook page is to provide up-to-date news and information on education issues in the State of New Jersey, and to serve as a valuable resource for parents and educators, as well as the general public.

All comments on the NJDOE Facebook page are reviewed for appropriate content, as defined below. The NJDOE reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to review, remove, edit, or delete comments. A comment may be removed, edited, or deleted at any time if, without limitation:

1) It is harassing, intimidating, or inflammatory;
2) It is sexually explicit, profane, obscene, or pornographic;
3) It is libelous or defamatory;
4) It is misleading, inaccurate, malicious, or discriminatory;
5) It is unlawful, inappropriate, and/or offensive;
6) It contains personal or confidential student information;
7) Appears to violate State or federal laws and/or regulations; or
8) Contains commercial solicitations, spam, or advertising.

To protect your privacy, please do not include any personally identifiable information, such as your name, address, social security number, date of birth, or home address in the body of your comment. Comments containing personally identifiable information are subject to removal or deletion at any time.
