After consultation with the client a brief is put together and concepts are drawn up by brainstorming and drawing from the vast multi-disciplinary experience that Regent has at its disposal.

To achieve a world class quality and cost effective product Regent makes use of 3D CAD and all the benefits that come with it. From the outset one can visualise the product in detail, manipulate the design to suit requirements by dynamically adding, modifying, moving parts in an assembly to ensure optimum product efficiency.

Furthermore the 3D model can be used for marketing of the concept product even before it exists, as the model allows for realistic renderings. Detailed engineering drawings and geometry for CNC programs to machine the moulds are all extrapolated from the 3D model, and at the discretion of the client one can also have a prototype made, either machined on a CNC or by Rapid Prototyping. This allows for the product to be analysed further avoiding costly delays in the tooling. It also may be used for fitment and appropriate testing.
