OUR NAME
Our name PROearth and our logo symbolises the progression from un-processed, natural, sometimes un-kept ground to perfect symmetrical engineered lines. Emphasising our values of PROfessionalism, PROactiveness and environmental & communal PROtection.
Our heritage, our roots and our people are from Africa. Africa provides our sustainability and we will contribute to Africa’s and specifically to South Africa’s sustainability through our business, our values & vision.

At PROearth people are our most important asset and investing in them, their families and their communities is the foundation on which we build success.

OUR MANAGEMENT TEAM
Hardie Swanepoel has 18 years experience in the Mining & Construction sector. Recently he was MD of Pela Plant, a R 300m pa enterprise, and Group EXCO Member of JSE listed Protech Khuthele Holdings. Between 2001 and 2007 he played a lead strategy, business turnaround and management role that successfully raised turnover from R 80m pa to R 1 billion pa and a successful JSE listing of Protech Khuthele.

Frank le Roux has 21 years experience in the Construction, Earthmoving & Civils sectors. As Contracts Director for Protech Khuthele he has directed Mining, Roads, Rail and Earthworks contracts exceeding R 1.5 billion in value, in South Africa and Southern Africa. He has undertaken and successfully completed projects for Anglo, Xstrata, BHP Billiton and Bombela. He is well known in the industry for on-target project achievement & for driving cost savings and for meeting ‘impossible’ deadlines.

Janice Ramlutchman has 10 years experience in Human Resource Management and Payroll. She has worked across various sectors including: Construction, Earthworks, Civils, Logistics, Services, Hospitality & Auditing.
She has completed her Bachelor of Social Science majoring in General Psychology and Industrial Psychology. She has also completed her Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Human Resource Management. She is currently doing her second year Masters in Business Management but specialising in Human Resource Management. She has full function HR and payroll generalist as well as management experience. Janice is registered with the SABPP as an HR Professional.

OUR ORIGINS
The name PROearth originated from our brother and colleague Andreas Swanepoel. Andreas owned a lonely TLB in a closed corporation known as PRO EARTH, he had big dreams to build something from nothing. It is his dream that we now dream at PROearth to build something from nothing.

Unfortunately Andreas passed away at the age of 36, but he still lives on in our memory.
