L'associazione nasce dopo un periodo di un anno dalla chiusura della storica scuola diretta da Mireille Roche. Un anno di collaborazioni e di ricerche da cui è nato infine l'Institut de Danse du Val d'Aoste in questa nuova forma. L'associazione culturale ha come scopo la promozione della danza in ogni sua forma artistica.
