Seit 1979 bereichert das Kellertheater Innsbrucks Theaterlandschaft mit einer gelungenen Mischung aus Professionalität und Engagement. Im Stöcklgebäude am Adolf-Pichler-Platz 8 steigt man die Treppen hinunter, ein schönes, unverputztes Ziegelgewölbe tut sich auf, mit etwa 70 Plätzen vor einer kleinen Bühne. Das Innsbrucker Kellertheater ist neben dem Tiroler Landestheater die einzige Profibühne mit Jahresspielbetrieb in Tirol.
