General information

SJM Properties has been successfully providing tenants with good quality accommodation for over 30 years. Our offices are at:

- 30 Headingley Lane, Hyde Park, LS6 2AS
- 8 North Lane, Headingley, LS6 3HE (next to the Nat West Bank)

We have a team of long serving staff who are experienced in every aspect of the business. We know what it takes to help you find a good place to live and we work hard to ensure that your stay in one of our properties is an excellent experience.

With this in mind, our contracts are easy to understand and our terms are flexible. Whenever possible we take the time to explain the agreement and your options.

Safe Agent

We are also a Safe Agent. Safe Agent Fully Endorsed - is a mark denoting firms that protect landlord and tenant money through a client money protection (CMP) scheme. All agents involved maintain and operate separate designated client accounts where your money is held completely separate from the operating funds of the firm.

We Are Specialists

We specialise in student and professional accommodation, renting flats, apartments and houses.

Much of the accommodation has been built by us in the last few years. We were proud to be short listed for the LABC Building Excellence Awards in 2012.

We also have a large number of traditional Victorian and Edwardian properties right across LS6 - the heart of student accommodation in Hyde Park and Headingley. We usually have many brand new and fully refurbished properties at all times of the year.

Maintenance

The vast majority of properties are owned and managed by us. So, there is no middleman and therefore no need to wait for a decision on repairs or maintenance.
