Dry Ice Blasting is revolutionary blasting method that uses dry ice pellets as the blast media. The process is extremely environmentally friendly and provides a fast and effective alternative to traditional methods of cleaning industrial production equipment.
Dry Ice pellets are propelled through a blasting gun in a jet of accelerated air. On hitting the surface to be cleaned, they explode causing the surface to freeze and then loosen. The pellet then sublimes (passes direct from solid to vapour state) and the object is cleaned without any damage to the surface.
