Richard Hirst is the founder of Laker Legal Solicitors. He was also the founder,owner,and senior partner of a large Solicitors Practice in the North West of England. Over Richard`s 25 year career, he has been responsible for training other Solicitors who are now partners in their own firms.

Richard and his team envisaged creating a truly 21st Century Solicitors practice which delivered low cost legal services without compromising on the quality of the legal service.

In order to achieve this goal Richard & his team radically changed the infrastructure of the traditional high street Solicitors practice.

At Laker Legal Solicitors client files are securely stored electronically therefore creating huge savings on stationery and administration costs. As the files can be accessed from anywhere at any time, client matters can be worked on by Solicitors from any where at any time enabling the firm to deliver a truly 24/7 service to their clients. Documents, letters and emails are created by each Solicitor using voice recognition technology therefore again making huge savings on secretarial services.

By stripping away many of the traditional high fixed overheads and focusing only on providing those things that you really need from a good Solicitor, the firm has been able to reduce its charging rates by at least one third when compared to other Solicitors` practices.
