We should start by saying that we’re not like other letting agents. We’ve got all the knowledge and expertise you deserve, but a level of personal service you might not expect.

We’re local, not national; we have a high street branch, not a call centre; and we’ll explain what we can offer clearly, rather than hiding behind any jargon

Landlords ;

As a landlord, you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to the different services we can provide. Not only do we cater for all needs, from let only to full management, we also offer a reliable maintenance service which can be accessed by anyone – whether we manage your properties or not. Our portfolio of 22 properties – eight in Chesterfield – as well as our experience working in property management, means we understand what landlords need and expect. We can take all the hard work, administration and effort off your hands and find you reliable, reference-checked tenants. Our three broad categories of management service are let only, rent management, or full management. But because every landlord is different, we tailor our management package to you and if you require a service level that falls somewhere between those three, we can do it.

As a tenant, you benefit from our expertise in matching people with their ideal home. We’re building on our existing portfolio of eight properties across Chesterfield, ranging from large detached houses, to cosy terraces.

Because the professionals at Toseland Properties are tenants too, we understand what’s important when you choose to rent. Finding a property through us guarantees you security and peace of mind, because we don’t put them on our books without carrying out stringent checks on both home and landlord. In total we have 22 rental properties, in Chesterfield, Sheffield and Halifax, from family homes to luxury apartments.

We’ll do everything we can to accommodate your needs, but it’s important to take into account that not all landlords can accept pets, smokers, students or people claiming housing benefit.

Maintenance ;

By now you probably know that Toseland Properties isn’t like other letting agents – the way we approach maintenance is one of the key ways we’re different. For a start, we haven’t placed any restrictions on who can access our maintenance services. We know that having someone reliable and skilled to carry out jobs is just as important, whether you’re a landlord or a regular homeowner.

Our team is fully qualified, experienced and trustworthy, and we can tackle almost every kind of project around the home. Just some of what we can do includes: fitting bathrooms and kitchens; re-plastering; painting and wallpapering; fitting flooring or laying carpet; tiling; and electrical work. We can also do smaller DIY jobs like putting up shelving, and installing washing machines or dishwashers. Whether your job is large or small, we’ll tackle it quickly and professionally.

We’re also aware that one of the problems of getting jobs done around the house can be finding a tradesman in the first place and being confident they’ll turn up when they say they will. So when you use our maintenance staff, whether you’re a landlord on our books, an independent letter or householder, you can rest assured they’ll be there on time, no matter how big or small the job.
