Established in 2005, Acorn Care and Education is the UK’s leading independent provider of specialist education, foster care and residential care for vulnerable and hard to reach children.
Acorn Care and Education provides the highest standards of care to just under 2000 foster children, together with over 700 children in 16 well-resourced Special Educational Needs Schools and specialised residential care
Acorn’s fostering division is the third largest provider of foster care services in England, operating under the brands Fostering Solutions, Pathway Care and Heath Farm.
In 2013, Acorn also became the sponsor of seven Alternative Provision Academies in Cornwall and is currently extending this into Suffolk.
