Hello everyone!! Here at AES we love what we do! We are a family-run, English language school on the beautiful Kent coast within easy reach of London and just a few kilometres away from the historic cathedral city of Canterbury.

As well as having a warm and welcoming atmosphere, we employ a team of highly experienced and qualified trainers, dedicated to making your time here meaningful and fun.

Our teachers use the latest teaching methodologies and accelerated learning techniques.

Because we employ highly qualified and experienced teachers, your lessons are designed to maximise your English language skills, so that you will see a significant improvement in your language.

Courses

At AES, we passionately believe in making learning meaningful.
That’s why all AES programmes are designed to be highly practical and interactive. We have a learning - by-doing approach which makes your lessons stimulating, fun and relevant.

We offer the following courses:
* General English (15 or 21 hours per week)
* Examination (IELTS & Cambridge exams)
* Combined (15 hours in a group followed by 4 or 8 hours One to One tuition with your tutor)
* One to One
* Business
* English for Sepecific Purposes (Finance, Marketing, Law...)
* Junior Vacation for teenagers aged between 13 to 17 years old

We are very lucky to work in a large Victorian house situated only a minute from the town centre and 10 seconds away from the best coffee house in Folkestone! Please see our album photo for more details.

As well as lovely classrooms we have:

Your host family:

Your stay with your host family is a very important part of your experience in England and we make sure that we use the best host families to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable.
All our host families are within 10 to 20 minutes walking distance from the school, some of them are only 2 to 3 minutes away. All our families have been carefully selected and are monitored regularly by our accommodation & welfare officer. They all adhere to our & British Council strict guilines.
We have a dedicated member of our team who will look after you and place you with a warm and welcoming family. We can also offer alternative accommodation such as: B&B, hotel, self-catering flats...

Our accommodation prices start from as low as £90 per week (half-board)
