Situated in the ancient market town and Cinque Port of Sandwich, the Market Inn was first licensed as a pub in 1874 although the building is almost certainly much older. In the early days, the pub was the meeting place for traders bringing their livestock to the market, hence of course its name. It continues the tradition of warm hospitality to this day.
The Market Inn is a family run public house, serving traditional hand pulled real ales, draught lager and cider alongside a great selection of wines. The Cavell Family operate 'The Market Inn' as a family pub with a great atmosphere and a family friendly establisment for all guests.
The Cavell Family serve homemade food daily, 12-3pm and every evening, 6-9pm. The Market Inn is open every day from 10am.
The Market Inn hosts a variety of entertainment, from quizzes to live music and karaoke.
