Integrated Architecture is a new practice created through the merging of two well-established practices, Heath Avery Architects and Astam.

The new company draws on the complementary skillsets and professional qualifications of both companies in order to provide all aspects of the architectural design and professional construction service under one roof. These services include: architectural design, structural engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering and cost consultancy.

Integrated Architecture was specifically conceived to provide customers with an architecturally-led approach to construction design and engineering based on the industry best practices outlined in the government’s BIM framework (Building Information Modelling). The BIM framework, which comes into force in April 2016, stipulates that all public sector construction projects adopt sophisticated Building Information Modelling (BIM) technologies, processes and collaborative behaviours in order to drive up the efficiency of projects and promote industry best practice. By adopting BIM Level II into the new practice, Integrated Architecture can bring the best practices of large-scale public sector projects to all customers, irrespective of their size or sector.
