Established in 1987, and based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, Richard Herrmann Associates Ltd provides Civil and Structural design and detailing for clients and projects of all sizes, areas of industry and geographic location. We have extensive experience in providing structural design for Healthcare, Education, Retail, Commercial, Leisure, Manufacturing and other industries, as well as bespoke design for specialist equipment support, gantries, frames, stages, etc. This experience allows us to ensure that the client’s needs are met, whether it is providing the design for a simple steel beam, reporting on the condition of existing buildings or ensuring that the support of a new MRI scanner meets the manufacturers requirements. We are adept at designing and detailing in all mainstream building materials (timber, masonry, steelwork, concrete) and have the very latest design software available in-house to create a virtual model of the proposal, provide structural analysis and even produce 3D visuals, plans, sections and details utilising Building Information Modelling (BIM).
