Gallery in the Lanes is a warm and inviting space on the corner where Bedford Street and Bridewell Alley intersect, part of the building that was once the renowned Hovell's emporium.
We have an ever-evolving group of local, national and international artists and makers. New artists and ranges are introduced frequently so it's always worth your time to stop by to see what's new and exciting us in the gallery.
From original paintings and limited edition prints to glass, ceramics, wood and fabulous, distinctive jewellers, we have so many pieces to love and desire.
Our selection starts at £10, and we have many perfect, individual gift ideas for under £50. We also are pleased to offer the Own Art scheme. Own Art is a Creative United initiative supported by Arts Council England, Creative Scotland and Arts Council of Northern Ireland. The scheme offers you an interest-free loan, repayable across 10 monthly instalments. Loans are available from £100 to £2500 making an aspirational piece an attainable possession.
