At Manchester Craft & Design our aim is to make contemporary visual art, craft and design accessible for all.
Our former Victorian fishmarket building at the heart of the Manchester’s creative Northern Quarter houses some of the region’s most talented artists, designers and makers. See them at work creating textiles, jewellery, ceramics, prints, fine art, sculpture and more; discover their stories, hear about their materials and processes, or learn a new skill yourself by taking part in a workshop.
And don’t miss our exciting programme of free contemporary craft exhibitions and events and our on-site café bar which serves delicious homemade fare.
