General information

I picked up my first camera at the age of 10, from that moment on I was hooked on photography. After leaving school I studied photography in the evenings at a local college. In those days it was film and darkroom, yes it was that long ago.

Eight years ago I started the business, although it started as a school photography business things have changed a lot since then. Four years ago I met with a company that wanted to develop 360 degree product photography, I worked with them on the project and over the next few years we photographed all their products using 360 photography. The key point was they wanted it compatible with iphones so it had to be html rather than flash.

The natural progression from the 360 product photography was 360 degree virtual tours, so for almost two years I've been offering that service. Although I still offer standard commercial photography services it's now got to the point that 360 photography is the bulk of my work.
I've done a considerable amount of 360 degree virtual tours for holiday and leisure industries, that is an industry that has really embraced the new technology.
I'm also now getting a lot of interest from estate agents, virtual tours can offer potential buyers a much better experience when looking to buy/rent a premises.
Although I have over 30 years experience in photography I'm the first to admit I don't know it all. The industry is continually changing and I spent a lot of my time learning and pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
