• Puravent Air Purification •

Our air purification systems are based on UV light and are used in various applications in commerce and industry, from preventing mould spores in bakeries, through to infection control in healthcare facilities, to protecting banks and financial houses from bioterrorism attacks, amongst many, many applications in between. The air purifiers are either room based (mobile or fitted in the ceiling) or they are in-duct, that is they are fitted to the ventilation system. Critical in UV air purification systems is to get the design right; we not only supply the systems, we design them to suite the application so that they work exactly as required. We also use UV for various odour control applications.

For issues of dust and airborne oil droplets in factories we offer air cleaning systems. These are based on either conventional filter technology of on electrostatic air cleaning systems. The Trion range of electrostatic precipitators is particularly suited to capturing oil mist from metal milling systems, large engines, turbines and catering extract airflows.

• Puravent Heating •

Our heating range has several brands of oil fired heaters and gas fired heaters, some mobile whilst others are intended for permanent installation. Other types of heaters that we supply are biomass fired and electric heaters, as well as water fed LPHW heaters. Whilst these are space heating technologies, heat can also be generated by radiant heaters. Of this type we supply electric powered radiant’s which can be mounted at quite low heights, medium heights and some which we can mount as high as 25m from the floor. Or range of modern sleek water fed radiant panels which run at relatively low temperatures are an ideal complement to modern low carbon heat sources, as much as they are an architects dream because they are almost invisible heating. Although we do many of the standard industrial electric fan heaters starting at about 3kw, we also supply much larger fan heaters; 20kw 40kw, 80kw, 120kw; if you need one to preheat a generator or turbine and we can specify it and get it bespoke built.

Related to the heating range are destratification fans, which we specify for space heating applications to ensure that heat does not get wasted by stratification. Our destratification fans find use in existing space heating applications as well, where with correct selection of fans and design of destratification fan layout, heating costs can be reduced by up to 40%.

• Puravent Cooling •

Your requirements for cooling offices, studios and factories can be provided by our range mobile evaporative coolers but for larger applications we offer installed evaporative coolers, which can have capacity to provide up to 63000m3/hr. The static evaporative cooling systems and adiabatic cooling systems are available with all the ancillaries that you would need for a complete installation. Once installed we come and set the evaporative cooler up and commission it before the warranty takes effect.

We offer air conditioners for applications where evaporative cooling is not suitable, and in this range we have wall mounted monoblock air conditioners, mobile monoblock air conditioners, industrial spot coolers and large mobile split air conditioners. Some of our split machines are water based; what this means is that the refrigerant based system is based outside in a chiller and cold water is piped inside from the chiller to fan coils in the building. We offer both mobile chiller units, and modular chiller units. Chiller modules come in various sizes, typically 30kw and 65kw which can be connected together to make single chillers with a large variety of potential capacities which can be easily installed. A full range of fan coils is offered including ceiling cassettes, cabinets, and wall mounted coils.

• Puravent Dehumidifiers and Drying •

Many industrial processes rely on dry air to ensure continuity of the process or condition of product. In these applications and indeed condensation and corrosion control Puravent can specify and supply suitably sized and featured desiccant dehumidifiers to dry process air to within a target range. Where required desiccant dehumidifiers can be provided with DX or water heating and cooling coils complete with exacting plc control to supply air within very tight temperature and humidity specifications for close controlled environments.

For drying buildings that have perhaps been flooded or for drying masonry on building sites Puravent offer a range of robust mobile dehumidifiers, including models from Broughton and Calorex. For permanent dehumidification requirements in buildings say in basements, drying rooms, laundries, timber storage facilities etc., we offer a range of fixed and wall mounted dehumidifiers which we designed to maintain a preset humidity level, 365 days per year.

• Puravent Fans and Air Movement •

Often air conditioning or evaporative cooling is too expensive to be easily justified and in these situations fans are popular. Puravent offer larger industrial fans for cooling staff in work environments, and the range includes drum fans, box fans, wall mounted fans and air circulator fans. These ranges find popularity in gyms, fitness studios, shops, smaller factories and industrial units. On the large end of the range there are wind machines, which are designed to be stacked together to form wind walls. These are used in photographic and film studios and indeed for indoor sailing displays.

Ventilation fans are used for extracting foul or dust laden air or supplying fresh air, and together with flexible ductwork are a vital health and safety tool for sitework, particularly in confined spaces. Puravent have a range of ventilation fans from 4” diameter up to 20” diameter, and also have models which are explosion proof, ATEX rated and intrinsically safe for the more demanding applications.
