Crofton House has undergone significant refurbishment over the last 3 years. Originally built in 1856 as a late Edwardian villa, the Hotel is set in an idyllic position in the English Riviera, Torbay. Crofton House is a charming, adults only -18 years and above- 14 bedroom hotel with a bar, lounge and dining room. It has a mature garden with a private gate (currently closed) leading to the Crofton Meadow. Torquay Lawn Tennis Club, Riviera International Conference Centre, Torquay Bowling Club, Torre Abbey Sands. Torre Abbey Crescent with its restaurants which include 'Le Bistrot Pierre', 'On the Rocks', 'Las Igunas' to name a few are just a short stroll away. A little further along the sea front you will find 'The Princess Theatre'. The marinas and harbour are also close by with the town centre found a little stroll further along the promenade.

Crofton House will soon be reopening the indoor and outdoor pool, the jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and a fitness room.

As an adult only hotel, you can return after a day out enjoying the sites of Torquay and the surrounding areas, which include Babbacombe-Paington-Brixham-Dartmouth-Dartmoor to name a few- to relax and plan your tomorrow while enjoying a few drinks in the comfort of the lounge and bar or on the terrace. Crofton House is also a great place to arrange to meet with friends and associates throughout the day and evenings; though not a suitable hotel for stag and hen parties.
