Jo Jo’s, your one stop dance and performing arts centre! Jo Jo’s are passionate to encourage the best out of your child, helping them to gain confidence and achieve their goals along the way. Jo Jo’s has a relaxed, friendly family atmosphere, whilst still maintaining a dedicated and professional school environment for their students and are proud to say they are an accredited school with the CDET.
Jo Robinson has fulfilled her lifelong ambition to open her own dance school. Jo attended the Italia Conti School in London for 3 years at the age of 16, gaining a degree in the performing arts and Associates with the ISTD. Jo continues to complete her fellowships to become an examiner with the IDTA.
Jo Jo’s School of Dance and Performing Arts has been running for 9 years and is forever growing, with new classes, experienced teachers and many opportunities to perform and compete. Jo Jo’s is conveniently located moments off the main Ramsgate Road, Margate. The school has 4 state of the art studios with sprung floors, barres, mirrors and one way windows into the studios. They offer a wide range of weekly classes from £2.75 in ballet, jazz, tap, street, cheerleading, drama, singing and more all giving the opportunity to take part in graded examination with the IDTA. Guest teachers and West End professionals are regularly invited to give workshops. In the near future they are looking to expand their timetable to explore innovative parent and toddler groups, expanding adult wellbeing classes and very exciting circus aerial classes for all ages.
