Foundations Furniture Project

General information

We offer low cost, pre-loved furniture, electrical appliances and other household goods. We offer even further discount to any household in Gateshead who receives benefits (Housing/Council Tax etc). New furniture and mattresses are available.

We also offer a free collection service within Tyne and Wear for any donated furniture that is in good condition and can be passed on to another home.

Foundations is a local collection point for the NE First Credit Union. You can call into our showroom to become a member and start saving regularly with the credit union. We can also help you to access Credit Union loans to buy household items, offering an alternative to high interest weekly payment stores and payday loans.
