When you walk through Sandy Lane doors, you will never want to leave. We offer high quality learning experiences for children aged two to four, through a rich, irresistible environment both indoors and outdoors. We are incredibly lucky to have 'Robin Wood', our very own enclosed forest within the nursery grounds.

Through forest school, we teach children a number of life skills, such as problem solving, den building, cooking on a fire, tree climbing, animal searching, and much more!

As well as that we have an enormous outdoor area which the children can access at their own free will.

Inside, we are very lucky to have open, airy classrooms which create a calm, clear environment for your children to develop and learn at their own rate.

Our Garden Room offers provision for 52 children aged 3-4. Parents can choose from morning or afternoon sessions, five days per week. Sessions run from 8:45-11:45, then 12:30-3:30.

Within Rainbow Room we provide provision for a substantial number of two to four year old children with additional needs. We offer our children a stimulating, sensory learning environment where there is a strong emphasis on exploration and the development of independent skills.

We also offer two year funded places, where children can begin their journey even earlier to achieve their best potential.

As well as all this we have a beautiful studio where children are encouraged to express and develop creativity; and the lighthouse where the bubble machine, magical lighting, and soft music, along with the sensory activities contribute to a peaceful, memorable day in nursery.
