General information
London Bus Preservation Trust is a charitable trust which owns and operates a public museum where London's bus heritage is on daily display. Based at Brooklands, Weybridge in Surrey - just 35 minutes on the train from London Waterloo to Weybridge or by car from junction 10 of the M25. Visitor entry is via the joint entrance with Brooklands Museum - postcode KT13 0SL - via Wellington Way and Mercedes-Benz World.
The Museum has the world’s largest and most comprehensive collection of historic, working London buses & coaches, spanning 150 years from an 1870s horse-bus to a 1999 Dennis Trident. Some 30 buses are always on display, all under cover in the Museum's modern building and arranged in an historical timeline with period backdrops and displays of associated ephemera.
London Bus Museum is open every day except at Christmas and shares a visitor entrance with Brooklands Museum - one ticket covers both museums.
