General information

" I am qualified as Natural Health practitioner in the areas of Nutritional Therapy, Acupressure and also utilizes a wide range of neutraceuticals and natural therapies to help bring the body back to balance. These qualifications also come with the necessary scientific qualifications in the areas of biology, microbiology and chemistry. I therefore take a scientific view in assessment and analysis of your ailments.

I have always had an interest in natural medicine and after spending many years in Project and Quality management, I became very ill with hyperthyroidism with some of the related ailments of this disease. I was misdiagnosed at the time and was consequently given incorrect medication. This was a time in my life that I decided that I needed to be responsible for my own health and that was when I earnestly decided to study natural medicine. Nine years later, I have not had any reoccurrences of Hyperthyroidism and I continue to enjoy excellent good health.

My passion for this area of medicine is huge, however I do see that an understanding of conventional medical sciences, in the areas of Biology, Biochemistry, Micro and Molecular biology, Genetics and all the related scientific subjects are very important in helping me to deliver the best care and advice in natural health, consequently I am currently pursing studies in Biomedical Science.

As I take an integrative approach to healthcare, at Wimpole Therapeutics you also have a choice of other practitioners of Alternative medicine and conventional medicine. I am a full member of the Complementary Medical Association, and the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy.
