Seldram Supplies (Twickenham)

General information

In 1989, Robert Mardle set up Oxford City Supplies with a team of three people (one sales person, one order processor and one driver). In 1998, we moved into bigger premises at Osney Mead in the centre of Oxford.In 2007, Robert’s son, Thomas Mardle joined the team and enjoyed it so much, he purchased the company from his father.

In 2012, Robert Mardle, along with his eldest son Benjamin purchased A1 Services Southern, an existing cleaning and janitorialsupplier located on the busy London Road in Camberley.

In 2014, following on from the success of Camberley and due to market demand, Ben opened up a new High Street branch in Twickenham, and so the name Seldram Supplies came to the fore. The name “Seldram” is Mardle backwards, reflecting the fact that Seldram Supplies is a family owned and run business.

In 2015, due to consistent growth, the Oxford branch relocated from their 3000 ft2 warehouse in Osney Mead to a new 8300 ft2 premises in Eynsham located on Southfield Road.

In 2016, Benjamin and Robert purchased Microtor, an independent cleaning and janitorial supplier, located in Long Sutton in Hampshire, which had been trading since 1984.
