About US

Drayton Cottage has a simple philosophy and that is to provide a range of holistic therapeutic services and counselling. It actively promotes community and group based activities including Tai Chi and Yoga. Education and group practise is playing an ever more important role within the centre and in 2015 these are set to expand with the introduction of courses on Mindfulness, Meditation and Healthy Living as well as the introduction of workshops for yoga and healthy living. One-to-one counselling and personal development sessions adhere to strict code of ethics as laid-down by the BACP and other professional bodies.

We are respectful in our approach to others and ensure complete confidentiality and adopt a non-judgmental ethos.

Drayton Cottage is establishing itself as a welcoming and supportive environment for guests and clients to enjoy and benefit from our therapeutic services.

The Location

We are extremely fortunate to have developed a network of complimentary services and facilities serving the borders of East and West Midlands. Our centre is located in the historic village of Fenny Drayton (previously called Drayton in the Clay), birthplace of George Fox one of the founding fathers of the Religious Society of Friends better known as the Quakers. A small part of the village moat is still visible in our grounds and makes-up some of the tranquil areas we have available to our visitors for meditation, relaxation and reflection. Finding us is very easy, the village lies between Nuneaton and Atherstone and is very close to Hinckley just off the A5. We also now have yet another claim to fame in that according the Ordinance Survey have calculated Fenny Drayton as the exact centre of England.

Therapy Rooms for Hire

We are expanding both our services and facilities in 2015 with the construction of additional therapy rooms. This will allow us to provide additional therapies and offer room hire to therapists from near and far. The plans are available to see on our Facebook pages.

The Studio

In addition to our therapy rooms we also have a large space for hire that we call The Studio. It is over 600ft2 and is ideal for group activities, training and workshops. We regularly run Yoga and Tai Chi classes in The Studio for up to 12 people and our training and workshop activities comfortably accommodate 20 persons and by utilising the adjacent spaces including our raised terrace. To complement our Studio hire we offer a full range of catering facilities from hot and cold refreshments through to formal dining supplied by our resident qualified and talented Chef.

Therapists

As we continue to expand we are always in search of complimentary services to offer our clients. We are eager to develop links with other therapists and counsellors to mutually support each other. If you would like to join our network please get in touch.

Event Organisers & Trainers

If you are planning an event or training days for 2015 and beyond we would love to talk to you about the Drayton Cottage facilities. Located in the heart of the Midlands we are in an ideal place to hold events due to superb road and rail links (M1, M6, M42, M69, A5). Please get in touch if you would like to discuss your next event.
