Invisible Print Studio works closely with artists we genuinely admire to create Limited Edition Screenprints that stand alone as original artistic statements

(We also offer a Screen Printing Service and a Fine Art Digital Print Service at our print studio in Wimbledon London)

Invisible Print Studio was conceived and founded by Michael Hall and Coralie Sheppard, a couple from South London, and launched in July 2013. We are a publisher and producer of original screenprint concepts.

Michael Hall is our printmaker, he graduated with a Masters Degree in Printmaking from the Royal Collage of Art in 2009 and is an artist, writer and curator. Michael has previously worked professionally with the majority of the artists we make editions with and has a fantastic knowledge of their individual practises. Using this knowledge, he works closely with them to ensure their practices translate into print. Translation is the key difference between making an original artistic statement and not just a decorative reproduction.

We are passionate about print and, although printmaking is a collaborative process, we believe the statement made by the artist to be the important factor. We are, as our name suggests, the invisible protagonists that give artists freedom and support throughout the creative process.

We aim to make all our editions to the specific needs of our artists. Each edition is developed through a proofing stage so that amendments can be made, if needed, before the printing of the edition is undertaken. Printmaking is a very playful yet challenging medium with many preparatory stages and processes through which a print can be achieved. From hand made positives, hand colouring, photographic halftones and digital files, we use the process that best suits the artists needs – whatever they may be. All of our editions have been developed and produced in this way, with all manner of methods and processes used to guarantee their successful completion. When an artist is happy to sign we are confident that the project has been a success.
