Hijama or cupping is a non-invasive and economical way of bringing the body back in to balance.

‘hijama’ means ‘drawing out’ in Arabic.

Disposable plastic cups are placed on the body and suction is created using a hand pump. This creates localized pressure by a vacuum causing the blood to mobilize in order to promote healing.

Minute incisions can then be introduced to the area. The blood released is known as 'toxic' or 'bad' blood.

Hijama detoxifies the body of toxins and other waste materials and promotes the flow of energy. This is an excellent method for preventing disease and illnesses.
