EASTERN ROSES PERFORMANCES;

SITARA
Sitara is a professional instructor choreographer and performer who has been invited to dance at many Top London Venues such as The millennium Hotel, Planet Egypt, London University, Oxford University in front of the Turkish Ambassador and for Friends of The Petrie Museum to name but a few. She has toured with the famous belly dance break beat band Oojami and has also been featured in a BBC period drama and most recently with her Eastern Roses on Got to Dance Sky1HD. Sitara and the Eastern Roses were also featured in several audition clips and rooftop filming for the opening credits of Britains Got Talent.

Sitara is also the founder and director of the Themed belly dance club night Shimmy-Licous.

The Eastern Roses Dance Troupe was formed in 2003 by Sitara and are a group of dedicated and highly skilled dancers. Renowned for their variety, diversity and spectacular costuming style and dedicated to providing breathtaking performances, the troupe have been wowing audiences in venues large and small ever since.

We have over 40 choreographies in a wide variety of styles from upbeat Egyptian pop or Turkish dances with Zills ((sagat or finger cymbols) to high energy drum solos guaranteed to create a lasting impression on your audience.

We are based in Essex and will travel to performance bookings in and around the M25 up to 2 hours away. We perform at Restaurants, Weddings, Birthday Celebrations/Parties, Theatres, shows and Television.

Here are just some of the different skills and belly dance styles that Eastern Roses can offer;

ISIS WINGS
Beautiful, colourful soft and romantic. Heavenly dances performed in majestic Isis wings in every colour that create breathtaking movement and a dramatic atmosphere! Stunning to watch, this can be performed as a solo or as a group if space allows! Isis Wings are ideal for many bookings where there is plenty of room and are extremely popular with weddings and hen parties!

BREATHTAKING DOUBLE VEIL;
This is done in beautiful silk costumes that never cease to create a magical atmosphere with endless flow and movement. This is a spectacular routine that Eastern roses can perform for you which will leave unforgettable memories for everyone. Truly beautiful and very entertaining for all.

TRIBAL FUSION STYLE;
This wonderful dance style draws upon various regions for its movements and costuming inspiration. It is influenced by the classical folk dances of the Middle East, North Africa & central Asia including Egypt, Persia, Morocco, India and Afghanistan. It has a completely different costuming style that is clearly different from the sequined costumes worn for oriental style. The dancers wear authentic old Kuchi costuming, cowry shells and jewellery from the tribes of the desert. This style of dance involves very controlled slow or fast and sensuous tightly synchronized routines with plenty of locks and isolations Hypnotic and earthy combinations cleverly interwoven and seamlessly blended to deliver mesmerising and fluid dances with a touch of mystery.

GYPSY FUSION;
Dances done with pure gypsy fire, plenty of attitude and extremely entertaining! These dances are upbeat and playful dances performed in huge flowing gypsy skirts in vibrant colours. Performed with plenty of spirit, attitude & skirt swirling technique. Sensual yet flirtatiously bold Upbeat and exciting foot tapping music that totally uplifts the soul and atmosphere in any room!

CLASSES
Sitara’s teaching style has proved to be very popular and she currently runs classes at Fitness First in Southend, Basildon, Chelmsford and Brentwood and Romford and has a new beginners class at Move it Dance Studio in South Woodham Ferrers. Her classes are attended and enjoyed by dancers of all abilities and levels.
