General information
The first Reading Pride took place on 4th September 2004 and has grown from strength to strength. 2007 saw the introduction of a Parade (originally arranged by the Wynford Arms) through Reading's busy main shopping streets which by enforcing a visible presence has assisted the charity's objectives. Mirroring the success of other large pride festivals across the country, Reading Pride has seen its' attendance reach over 10,000 people across the day in Kings Meadow which has now become a firm fixture in the Reading calendar.
