General information

The Anchor Group is England’s largest not-for-profit provider of housing and care to older people.

We have almost 50 years' experience and are a registered older people’s charity, operating from 1,000 locations across England.

Anchor provides housing for rent to people over 55 years of age at 700 locations across England, as well as homes for leaseholders in managed estates.
Anchor runs around 100 care and nursing homes, including several specialist dementia homes for customers with higher care needs.

Inappropriate behaviour – Spamming, trolling and similar activities such as posting identical links or comments on the page numerous times and posting unrelated information on other peoples’ posts spoil the community for everyone. This type of content will be removed and you may be banned from posting further comments.

No personal information – This is a publically available page and therefore we ask that you refrain from sharing personal information for your own safety. This includes but is not limited to your email address, home address, telephone number, BlackBerry PIN and other social media identifiers, credit card or other bank details. Anchor is not responsible for, nor do we endorse, other users obtaining information that you post on this page and any consequences that may arise.

We are not responsible for, nor do we endorse, anything posted to the page by users. Equally, due to data protection, it is not always appropriate for Anchor to give public replies to questions concerning an individual’s personal situation on social media.
