Das OVIGO Theaterensemble hat sich im September 2012 neu gegründet. Gestartet als Ortenburg-Ensemble im Jahr 1979, hat sich die Gruppe jetzt vom Schultheater des Ortenburg-Gymnasiums gelöst. Heimat ist und bleibt Oberviechtach im Landkreis Schwandorf. So setzt sich der Name OVIGO zusammen: OVI = Oberviechtach, OGO = Ortenburg-Gymnasium.
