General information
Greymouth High School is the largest school on the West Coast, with around 630 students from Year 9 to Year 13. Our school catchment goes from Punakaiki to the north, Ikamatua and Otira to the east and Kumara to the south, with Greymouth and its suburbs at the centre, giving us a diverse community to serve.
We start with a broad curriculum at Year 9 & 10 then offer increasing specialisation through pathways. These pathways are not only the traditional routes to University, but include the West Coast Trades Academy, Mawhera Services Academy and Karoro Learning. Greymouth High School prides itself on it's resources, committed staff and opportunities for authentic learning within our community.
