General information

Forest View is situated on the outskirts of Tokoroa giving us a great view of the town. We work hard to ensure our programmes in academic, sporting, cultural and leadership areas have a high performance focus.
Our learning programmes are designed to develop strengths in a wide range of career pathways and valuable qualifications that will enable students to have successful futures. Students at Forest View continue in large numbers to move to university, polytech or employment.
Our sporting programmmes provide our students with a range of activities in both summer and winter sports. All sports follow a high performance model designed to continuously raise the standard of play and increase participation. Students can also access high performance sports as subjects in Years 10 to 13.
Performing Arts and cultural activities give opportunities for our students to express themselves in a creative way and to reflect their cultures in positive ways. Te Piringitahi kapa haka, Polinetia Fa'atasi, music, dance and drama activities have set extremely high standards and our School is renowned for the quality of performances.
Student leadership development occurs at all levels of the School thus enabling students to develop leadership skills and thus make a contribution to Forest View and provide excellent role models to all students.
