相模中央化学研究所は、産・官・学とは異なる独自の基盤に立脚した研究機関として昭和38年に設立されました。本研究所は、社会貢献への窓口を身近に持つ恵まれた研究環境の中で、研究意欲に燃える所員一同、豊かな発想を持って、これまで培ってきた有機合成化学分野の研究レベルをさらに高め、かつ生物学や医学、物理学、工学、コンピュータ科学など周辺分野の研究との融和を深めながら、大学や企業との円滑な連携を保ちつつ、その一方で差別化を図り、創立の理念の実現に向けて、自らの創意で語ることのできる創造性豊かな研究を遂行すべく日々研究に邁進してまいります。
