The magnificent view of the Tateyama Mountain Range as if it was floating on the surface of water of Toyama Bay can be enjoyed only from the coast of Himi. Together with the beautiful view of the mountain range, this hot spring village has various attractions including the nature, scenic spots and historical interest of the Noto Peninsula Quasi-National Park, fresh seafood caught in a fishing ground offshore of Himi, a specialty Himi beef and Himi udon (white noodles). Hot springs are gushed forth here and there in the city, therefore, there are altogether 10 hot springs; Kudonohama, Iwaido, Himi-nadaura, Himi-aonoura, Himi-ariiso,Eiwa, Himi-matsudae, Takehara-no-yu, Koujiro and Tokonabe. Hotels, inns and ‘minshuku’ private guesthouses have their respective characteristics. The water quality of the hot spring is salt mineral water, and taking a hot spring bath here make you warm well and your skin feeling silky smooth, thus, Himi hot spring got well-known as “ spa of beauty”.
