The no-reservations tapas bar 22 Ships has become one of Hong Kong hottest tables since opening in October 2012 - offering an eclectic menu of modern tapas, served in a buzzy yet relaxed setting, and a dynamic list of wines, spirits, Spanish beers and Sherry. Using the best of both European and Asian ingredients, Michelin-star Chef Jason Atherton and 22 Ships Executive Chef Aaron Gillespie bring a modern touch to traditional classics, offering a creative modern tapas menu which Atherton describes as representing the modern face of dining - outstanding food that is reasonably priced.
Blending into the neighbourhood with a balance of vintage touches and modern charm, the intimate venue designed by Neri & Hu Design Research Office (NHDRO) offers inside table and communal bar seating, as well as relaxed al fresco dining and drinking.
22 Ships is the creation of entrepreneur Yenn Wong, founder of the JIA group, in collaboration and Michelin-starred Chef Jason Atherton of Pollen Street Social fame. The JIA Group currently consists of a collection of award-wining restaurants in Hong Kong
